Wow. There was just an earthquake. Right now. While I was eating ramen. Sweet!
Nothing big, nothing fallen over- but I've finally experienced my first instance of Japan's geological shuffling. Woo!
Back to ramen now.

Cool! I've been asleep for all the Pacific NW earthquakes, so I've never been through one. Doubt I'm going to get one here in Boston, either.
I played the piano through an earthquake once, in Pakistan (it was actually a really big earthquake in India, we just felt the aftershocks). It took me a while to work out why the piano was rocking so much... (I wasn't playing /that/ hard.)
I can remember this one time when I was a really little kid there was a pretty big earthquake in Yellowstone not far from where our house was. Nothing bas happened, but it did cause every single kitchen/bathroom/wherever cabinet, drawer, door, etc. in the entire house to open up. It was kinda creepy...
